Elly Kellner Songbook Series
Singer-songwriter Elly Kellner performs her newest and oldest songs directly from her own songbooks. The Songbook Series are up-close concerts with more space for interaction with the audience. Elly's melodic and melancholic music is often described as comforting. Inbetween the lines the lyrics can be radically honest. On a guitar with just four strings she occupies a unique piece of territory somewhere between folk and jazz.
Elly previously worked with Grammy Award-winning producer Larry Klein (Joni Mitchel, Tracy Chapman, Bob Dylan), Iain Matthews (Fairport Convention, Matthews Southern Comfort) and was awarded the Tamoil Culture Prize for the Arts & Literature.
